She was married to Adnis Reeves. They have four children together. 

In the beginning, their married life was going well, but all of a sudden, her husband abandoned her and her kids. 

Adnis brother and his family were killed by someone after that which made him start taking drugs and alcohol. 

In 1980-81, he left his family and vanished from their life.

It was such a difficult time for Gloria that she had to raise her four children alone.

 In 2003, Adnis desired to meet his son Jay, but he didn’t want to see him. But Gloria forced her son to meet him.

Afterward, they reunited, but only after three months of together, her husband died of liver disease on 19 June 2003.
