Saint Demetria of Rome, also known as simply Demetria, was born to the pious couple, Saint Flavian and Saint Dafrosa, in Rome, Italy. She was the beloved daughter of these esteemed saints and grew up in a devout Christian family. Demetria had a sister named Bibiana, who also became a saint. During the reign of Emperor Julian the Apostate, Christians were severely persecuted.
